The American Blood Trackers Association is committed to advancing the skills and knowledge of trackers, hunters, and dog handlers across the country. Our mission is to promote ethical recovery of game through education, training, and support.
We host educational seminars that cover a wide range of essential topics, including:
- How to train and handle blood tracking dogs
- Anatomy and behavior of game animals
- How to read shot sites and wound beds
- Wait times and tracking strategy
- Blood trail signs and recovery statistics
- And much more
In addition to education, we provide evaluation and testing for both tracking dogs and certified drone operators to help ensure effective and responsible recovery practices.
